Besteman, Ronald Ronald L. Besteman, age 77 went to be with Jesus on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Faith Hospice-Trillium Woods. He will be lovingly remembered by friends, family and his loving wife of 55 years Mary Lou; four children: Kimberly Cline (Michael), Michele Schilthroat (Jeff), Dawn Siereveld (Thomas) and Scott Besteman (Heidi); brother Kenneth (Mary); sisters-in-law: Ruth Besteman, Linda Cole; brother-in-law John Jipping; 13 grandchildren: Rachel Stadt (Justin), Kyle Cline (Lauren Eriks) and Trevor Cline; Joshua Cisler (Elizabeth Hurd), Anna Cisler, Daniel Cisler; Jeffrey Siereveld, Jaclyn Loux (Michael) and Emily Siereveld (Kyle Prince); Cody Besteman, Luke Besteman, Drew Besteman and Summer Besteman. Four precious great-grandchildren: Amelia, Evelyn and Henry Stadt; Charlette Prince, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Marjorie Besteman; his brother Marvin J. Besteman and brother-in-law James Cole. Ron was the owner of Ron Besteman Transport in Wyoming, MI for 42 years. In his spare time he enjoyed boating and hunting. Visitation will be held from 2-4PM and 6-8PM Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Cook Funeral Home (West Building) 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI. Funeral service will be held at 11AM Thursday, March 5, 2015 with visitation one hour prior starting at 10AM at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building). Pastor Bud Pratt will be officiating. Interment will be at Grandville Cemetery. In honor of Ronald and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to theAlzheimer's Association.
