CONRAD, Ida Mattawan With her daughters by her side, Ida passed away Friday morning, February 27, 2015 at her daughter's home in Mattawan, where she resided for the past 3 years. She was born September 18, 1925 in Comstock, MI, the daughter of the late Edgar and Bertha (Van Pelt) Crill and lived in Kalamazoo the majority of her life. She is survived by her daughters, Debra L. (Robert) Dennany of Lapeer and Michelle A. Conrad of Mattawan; grandchildren, Kelly (Dean) Lewis of Goodrich, Summer (Jason) Putnam of Lapeer, Mathew Glenn of Oshtemo, Michael Jr. (Sara) Conrad of Kalamazoo and Lyndsey (Jason) Becker of Attica; great grandchildren, Daisy Putnam, Riley Dennany and River Becker; a sister, Evelyn Gordon of Sherwood; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Clinton Conrad in 1977 and her son, Michael Alan Conrad in 1999. She was also preceded by 5 brothers, George (Flossie) Crill, Paul (Ruth) Crill, Art (Betty) Crill, Robert (Ethel) Crill and Ralph (Ann) Crill; 3 sisters, Mildred (Ken) Robb, Gladys (Len) Kasiorek and Mary Crill. She loved bowling on several teams, golfing with her sister, Gladys, sewing and knitting, going on family outings with her children and grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St, with Pastor Christopher Radcliffe, of the First Baptist Church of Davison, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, beginning at 11:00 AM until service time.
