TEDRICK (nee Sherwood) – Mrs. Aleatha M. Tedrick aged 98, of Grand Rapids, passed away on February 26, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Lottie Sherwood; husband, William; brother, Donald Black; and sister-in-law, Loraine Jarvi. Aleatha was a graduate of Union High, long time member of Faith United Methodist Church, worked for Buddy’s Dry Cleaning for 23 years and also Spartan Stores for 12.5 years. She was a Gray Lady during WWII and volunteered at many charitable organizations. Surviving are several nieces, nephews, and friends. The Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in the Chapel of Clark Retirement Community, 1551 Franklin St. SE. Friends and Relatives are invited to visit from 1 PM until the time of the service. Contributions in her memory may be made to Clark Foundation.
