Marjorie M. Kogutkiewicz, age 89, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the Elizabeth Residence, Oak Creek. Marjorie was born in Sparta, WI, November 25, 1925, daughter of the late Herbert and Avis (Nee: LaDue) Kaufman.

On April 17, 1948 she was united in marriage to Leonard M. Kogutkiewicz who preceded her in death, August 25, 2005. Marjorie was employed by Abbott Laboratories for eleven years and retired from Warren Industries after seventeen years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and First United Methodist Women. Above all she was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Lawrence (Martha) Kogutkiewicz, Robert (Patricia) Kogutkiewicz, all of Racine; her three grandchildren, Amie (Roger) Koehnlein, Julian Vaszily, and Serena Kogutkiewicz; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Irene Kaufman, Jeanette Kogutkiewicz, Bonnie Kogutkiewicz, Pearl (Tom) Bower, Frank Kogutkiewicz; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her sisters, Marion (Jack) Saunders, Nancy (John) Gail, Ruth (Doyle) Currington; brothers, Robert Kaufman and Harley (Gloria) Kaufman.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 24, 2015, 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Chaplain Jan Kwiatkowski officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. Memorials to the Dementia-Alzheimer’s Association have been suggested.
