Phyllis Harrison

Harrison, Phyllis J. Kalamazoo, MI Died Monday morning January 19, 2015. Phyllis was born May 6, 1927 in Three Rivers, Michigan a daughter of Allen and Mary (Kline) Snyder. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1958 and was employed with Hickory Farms for over 10 years before retiring. Phyllis was also a member of the Westwood United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Richard H. Harrison, Jr. on March 22, 2014. Phyllis is survived by a daughter of Renae (Brett) Simmons of Kalamazoo, a grandson and his fianc, Jason (Casey Lane) Mischen both of Portage; a great-granddaughter, Camille Mischen of Kalamazoo; a sister-in-law, Geneva Mills of Kalamazoo; two special cousins, Jeanette Jupp of Kalamazoo and Margaret Binns of Mears, MI; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held 10 o'clock Tuesday, January 27th at the Westwood United Methodist Church, 538 Nichols Rd. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the church. Graveside services will be held 1:30 Tuesday in Fort Custer National Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Westwood United Methodist Church.
