Ramon Flores, Sr.

Ramon Flores, Sr. Kalamazoo, passed away Sunday morning, December 14, 2014. Ramon was born May 4, 1951 in Toluca, TX the son of Juan and Maria (Gutierrez) Flores. He was employed for 12 years with the Pfizer Corp. and also worked for over 20 years with Fox River Paper. Ramon loved history, being outdoors hunting, and riding his Harley. On March 23, 1974 he was united in marriage to his loving wife, the former Gloria Guerra, who survives. Also surviving are his children, Ramon Flores, Jr., Christiane Flores; 3 grandchildren, Jared, Annika, and Gabriel Flores; brothers and sisters, Jesse, Ramiro, Rodolfo, Roberto, Rosa Maria Gamez, Juanita Donaho; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 brothers, Julio and Francisco Flores. A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm Friday December 19 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street with Rev. Jim Dyke officiating. Private interment will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the West Michigan Cancer Center.
