Frances Ann (Lakatos) Bouma

Bouma, Frances Frances Ann (Lakatos) Bouma, age 79, of Rockford, passed away quietly into the arms of her Savior surrounded by her family on October 29th, 2014. She is survived by her husband of 55 years Ralph; her children, Jean (Brian) Knapp, John Bouma, Jackie (Danny) Hart, Joanne (Jeff) Schultz, and Janice (Dale) Curtiss; her beloved grandchildren, Chris (Amelia) Knapp, Justin Knapp, Jennifer (Jordan) Tanis, Matthew Schultz, Scott Schultz, Randi Curtiss, Craig Curtiss, and Aaron Curtiss; nieces, Tara Rietberg and Shari Ackerman; her brothers-in-law, Ted DeLeeuw and Kendall (Terry) Larsen; sisters-in-law, Joan (Terry) Hurt and Kathy Bouma; many nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Mary Lakatos; sister and brother-in-law, June and Ben Rietberg; and niece, Kelly Rietberg. Relatives and friends can meet with the family from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at the Pederson Funeral Home, 127 N. Monroe St., Rockford, MI 49341. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 3, 2014 at First Evangelical Covenant Church, 1933 Tremont NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504.
