David T. Jeanette, Sr., 61, died Tuesday, October 21 in Lakeview. He was born September 16, 1953 in Kalamazoo, the son of Thomas and Shirley (Thompson) Jeanette. He was a loving family man and will be missed, especially by his children, Christina O'Bryan, Davina Gibbons, and David Jeanette, Jr; six grandchildren; siblings, George (Bobbie) Jeanette, Floyd Thompson, Jeff (Sara) Jeanette, Linda Raymond, and Yvonne Simmons; and three step-children. He was preceded in death by his parents and a step-son. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville, with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to consider the needs of the family.
