Thomas Allen Bowles

Bowles, Thomas Allen 12/28/1937 - 10/17/2014 Grand Rapids Thomas Allen Bowles, aged 76, passed away on October 17, 2014 with family members by his side. Tom was born December 28, 1937 in Grand Rapids, MI to Ralph and Thelma Bowles. He was preceded in death by his infant Grandson, Blake Alden. Surviving Tom is his beloved wife of 53 years Sarah; his son Brent Allen (Susan) and daughters Tracey Bowles and Stacey (Tim) Eckelbarger ; grandchildren Krinn, Austin, Alexandra, Emily, and Aaron and great grandson Evan Walsworth. Tom enjoyed his work as a type-setter for Grand Rapids Press and as a rural mail carrier. He was a life-long member of Orchard View Church of God. Tom also enjoyed his hobbies as a bowler, golfer, and enjoyed crossword puzzles. He will be remembered as a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Funeral services are scheduled for 11am on Monday, October 20, 2014 at Orchard View Church of God with visitation prior to the service at 9:30 am.
