Douglas Harold DeRidder

DERIDDER, Douglas Harold Age 59, unexpectedly went to be with his Lord due to accidental injuries, Sunday, September 28, 2014. He was preceded in death by his mother, Annamae DeRidder and in-laws, Les and Pat Galer. He will be remembered by his wife, Deb DeRidder; children, Corey (Hillary) DeRidder, Sara (Jake) Golden; beloved grandchildren, Chloe, Keegan, Bella; father, Harold (Annette) DeRidder; siblings, Sandy (Don) Goossen, Nancy (Jerry) DeGood, Deb (Hudson) Wouthuis, Judy (Steve) Burns; sister-in-law, Penny (Monte) Wohlford; aunts and uncles, many nieces and nephews. Doug had been a CSX employee for over 37 years and was looking forward towards retirement in June. Visitation with the family will be held 4-8 PM Friday, October 3, 2014 at Cook Funeral Home (West Building) 4235 Prairie St. SW Grandville, MI. Funeral service will be held at 2 PM with visitation one hour prior at 1 PM on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Cook Funeral Home (East Building). Josh Brinks (nephew) will be officiating. Interment will be at Rosedale Cemetery. In honor of Doug, contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association or the Humane Society of West Michigan.
