John Freer

John Freer passed away Saturday afternoon, August 23, 2014 in Meadow Woods Nursing & Rehab Center, Bloomingdale. He was born January 24, 1942 in Lawton, MI the son of the late John M. and Margaret (Schuh) Freer. John was a loving person with a ready smile who enjoyed polka music, animals and his friends at Autumn House Day Care, Paw Paw. Surviving are three sisters, Dorothy (Harold) Hande and Helen Palasinski both of Paw Paw and Rosemary (Jack) Kuivenhoven of Schoolcraft; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law Stanley Palasinski. Family will receive friends Wednesday (8/27) 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home Paw Paw where a funeral service will be held following visitation at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to Meadow Woods Nursing and Rehab, Autumn House Day Care or Hospice of Southwest Michigan.
