Mary Lassiter White

Mary Lassiter White passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014 at United Hospital System , Kenosha, WI a day after her 84th birthday She was born in Williamsburg, VA, August 22, 1930, daughter of the late William and Yearda (Nee:Lee) Smith. She was employed by the Eastern State Hospital for 20 years. She enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, but most of all she treasured the time spent with her family. Surviving are her children, Carl (Coleen) Lassiter Jr. of Racine, WI, Curtis (Cynthia) Lassiter of Williamsburg, VA, Ronald (Francine) Lassiter of Williamsburg, VA, Mary Viola Lassiter of Williamsburg, VA, William (Gwendolyn) Lassiter of Newport, VA; 15 grandchildren including Carl Lassiter III and Carmen Lassiter of Racine; other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Carl L. Lassiter and Fred White. Visitation in Racine will be held at the funeral home, Monday, August 25, 2014, 5-7 P.M. Funeral services and interment will be held in Williamsburg, VA.
