June A. Goder, age 94, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014 at LindenGrove, Mukwonago, WI. June was born in Racine, June 8, 1920, daughter of the late Herbert and Mildred (Nee: Johnson) Handrich.

On April 15, 1939 she was united in marriage to James Goder who preceded her in death, December 10, 2000. She was a member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church. June loved to read, especially the classics and mysteries. She also loved old movies and musicals, and was a longtime season ticket holder to theatrical productions at the Marcus Center. In addition to rummaging and antiquing, she and Jim spent many enjoyable hours in the company of best friends, Marie and LeRoy Johnsen. She will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her children, Patrick (Suzanne) Goder of Raymond, Paul (Janis) Goder of Whitewater, Julie (Sid) Larsen of Clinton; her five grandchildren, Christopher (Jill) Goder, Terri (Guy) Walton, D.J. Heffernan, Dana Heffernan, Megan Heffernan; 4 great-grandchildren, Josh (Katie) Lee, Becca (Bob) Hinds, Alex Goder, Anna Goder, and is expecting another great-grandchild next spring; 4 great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother, Ervin Handrich and sisters, Mildred Sulak and May Staven.

A Prayer Service will be held Thursday, August 21, 2014, 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home from 3:30 P.M. until time of Prayer Service at 6:00 P.M. Private interment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park.
