Age 90, Died July 29, 2014 in Kalamazoo. Joe was born February 5, 1924 in New Jersey and was a resident of the area for many years. He married Louise Glenn on January 25, 1947 and together they raised their children in a caring and loving home. Members of his family include his 2 sons: Joseph J. (Toni) Foltin, Jr., and Jeff Foltin; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ed (Evie) Foltin. Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Louise on Oct. 8, 2010; his daughter, Sandra on Dec. 18, 2012; and a son, Jim on Sept. 29, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Friday at the Life Story Funeral Homes, Betzler – Kalamazoo; 6080 Stadium Drive (375-2900). The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park with military honors provided by Comstock VFW.
