Beth Russell

Age 73, died Friday, July 25, 2014 at home with her family by her side. Beth was born in Davenport, Iowa on December 16, 1940 to the late Chester and Evelyn (Bradeen) Mudge. Beth loved to cook and was an avid bowler and gardener. She also loved to travel, especially to the Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. She was an animal lover and her precious little dog, Mystic and bird, Star, where always by her side. On September 27, 1971 she married the love of her life, Kenneth Russell, who survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Kelly Russell-Menken; grandchildren, Kurtis Menken, Jessica Menken, Nicole (Bradley) Winkelman and Brad Fluty; and great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Johnson, Damien and Integra Winkelman and Carla, Angelina and Shelby Fluty. Beth was preceded in death by her daughter, Carla Irene McNamee-Fluty on June 2, 1989. She loved her family more than life itself and would do anything for any of them. One of her last statements was "Please take time to love each other". Private burial will be held at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park - South.
