Beatrice Esther (Meyer) Buikema

BUIKEMA, BEATRICE ESTHER (MEYER) Grandville Beatrice Esther (Meyer) Buikema, age 90, of Grandville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 18, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerard "Jerry" and her first born son, Thomas. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Marcia and Cornelius Huizinga, Kathleen and Sherwood Dusterwinkle, Edward and Debra Buikema; grandchildren, Paul and DeAnna Huizinga, Daniel and Rossina Huizinga, Beth and Paul Hwang, Sara Huizinga and her fiance, Zach Savage, Timothy and Courtney Dusterwinkle, Tamara and David Houseman, Michelle and Kyle DeHaan, Thomas Buikema, Jane and Drew Coppess, Benjamin and Sarah Buikema; 15 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Robert and Marilyn Buikema; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, 2:30 PM at Twelfth Avenue Christian Reformed Church, 7581 12th Ave., Jenison with Rev. James Evenhouse and Chaplain Rick Kiekintveld officiating. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 1:00-2:30 PM at the church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Back to God Hour or Baruch Ministries.
