Passed away October 29, 2009 at home. She was born April 17, 1913 in Covington, TN, to the late Augusta and Annie (Bell) Harris. Emma was married to Ernest Bragg who preceded her in death in 1978. Surviving Emma are her children, Merlene Benson of GA, Cleve (Billie) Bragg and Ernest Bragg, Jr., both of CA, Mary Burchette, Juanita (James) Somerville, Lee (Carnell) Johnson, James (Joyce) Bragg, Lawrence (Retha) Bragg, Melvin Bragg and Lonnie Bragg all of Kalamazoo; many grand, great and great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by step-father who raised her, Freddie Norfolk; four children, Hortense, Clyde, Clarence and Willie Bragg and her three brothers and three sisters. A Memorial service will take place on Saturday, November 7th, 2:00 o'clock at Kingdom Hall North, 2098 N. 10th Street, Kalamazoo. Presiding over services will be Elder Huston Turner. Arrangements by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St.
