William Curley

Died May 4, 2008. Bill was born on Sept. 11, 1936 in Coopersville, MI, the son of Stanley and Irene (McGurn) Curley. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the U.S. Navy. United Parcel Service employed him for 20 years. He was a member of the Moose, Eagles, American Legion, American Vets and V.F.W. Post #927. His wife, Catherine Ann, preceded Bill in death in March 2005. Bill is survived by five children and their families, Ron, Barbara, Austin &Liberty Curley of Schoolcraft, Carol, Kevin, Brian & Lisa Curley of Zeeland, Randy, Sharon, Heather & Vincent Curley of Virginia Beach, VA, Mary Ellen, Dan Ricco & Danni Morabito of Kalamazoo, Tammy, Steve Kyle & Kasey Butler of Lake Odessa, MI; brothers, Robert & Elaine Curley of Cheboygan, MI and Donald Patrick Curley of Kalamazoo; several nieces & nephews. Friends will be received today from 5-8 PM at the PARCHMENT-REDMOND Funeral Home 2300 E. G Ave - 349-7735 and Thursday from noon until service time at 1 PM. Cremation will follow. Burial of cremains will be buried Friday, May 9, 2008 at 1 PM at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Borgess VNA Hospice or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
