Wilma Lamb

On March 19, 2012, at the age of 73, our Lord and Savior took his daughter, Wilma (Billie) Lamb, to be at his side. She spent her last few months in the care of Hospice of Holland.

Billie was born Septem­ber 24, 1938, in Holland, to Tim Smith and Genevieve ( Wise). She was number seven in a large family of 10 children.

Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J., who she enjoyed 53 years of marriage with; parents, Tim and Gene­vieve; sisters, Barb Parks and Marge Karrs. She is survived by her son, Don and Tonia Lamb; grand­son, James, all of Allegan; brother, Tim and Claudia Smith of Anderson, IN; sisters, Anna Mae Herron of Anderson, IN, Jeanette Nelson of Grand Rapids, Marylou DeBoe, Sharon and Dick Schutte, all of Holland, Sandie and Bill Potter of West Olive, and Marty Wright of Zeeland; along with many nieces and nephews.

To the staff at Hospice House of Holland, my mother, numerous times mentioned how comfort­able you made her. Thank you for all you did for her in her time of need. You all were a blessing.

A memorial service is planned for Monday, March 26, 2012, at 3 p.m., at Gateway Community Church, 8265 Felch St., Zeeland.
