William Braxton George

George, St. Peters, MO William Braxton George was born March 2, 1938 in Los Angeles, California, the son of Mary Grey George and Robert Ellsworth George. He passed on November 29, 2014. William is survived by his daughter, Christie Sharon George (David Neal) Skutt; son, David Lee (Carolyn Louise) Phillips; grandchildren, Joseph David Skutt, Rachel Christie Skutt, Brian David (Tracy) Phillips, Michelle Lynn Phillips (Devon) Liden, Jennifer Diane Phillips (John) Mitchell, and Laura Catherine Phillips; eight great-grandchildren, Brady Liden, Austin Liden, Kylee Liden, Blake Liden, Alex Phillips, Ashley Phillips, "Jack" John Williams Mitchell, Luke Mitchell; two of his siblings, Marjorie Ann George Bertrand Mailly, and Sue Ellen Weber; cousins, Lyle William Bro, Briana Ashley Bro, Brandon Hunter Bro; and other relatives, Bobbie Butler, Jennifer Lamm and Alecia Zeigler. He was preceded in death by his other two siblings, Robert Ellsworth George Jr. and Harry Weber. William was the nephew of the famous actor, Ray Milland. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 11 AM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW. Relatives and friends may meet the family prior to the service on Saturday from 10-11 AM at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project.
