Passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Medilodge of Portage, Age 89. Joyce was born in Van Buren County on April 10, 1929, the daughter of the late Charles Marion Davis and Faye Keesler Davis of Decatur. She was a member of the Cross Community Church of the Nazarene. She was employed in food service for over fifty years, working for Western Michigan University, Peggy's Drive Inn, Canary Restaurant and Russ's. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, ice skating, tending to her rose garden, traveling and volunteering. She was married to George Alonzo Bradeen on November 15, 1952; he preceded her in death on July 22, 2008. She is survived by her brother, Ryan (Deborah) Davis; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved church family. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Miriam Pogue and Beryl Adams. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 9, 2018 at the Cross Community Church of the Nazarene,5625 Oakland Dr., Portage, Ml 49024, with Pastor Jeff McVay officiating. Interment will take place in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park, South, following the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Cross Community Church of the Nazarene.
