Virginia "Ginney" Davison, 81 of Battle Creek, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2006 at Mercy Pavilion.
She went home to meet her creator and her loving husband, Ernest R. Davison who passed away in 1989.
Virginia was a homemaker and daycare provider for many children. She also worked at Post Cereal for two years during WWII.
She loved bingo, coloring-especially velvet pictures, sun catchers and watching birds.
Surviving are four children: Christine (Bill) Gilkison, Frank (Raye Ann) Davison, Paul (Pat) Davison and Sharon (Buzz) Tenny; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; ten step -grandchildren; two brothers and one sister.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Aric Davison, seven sisters and two brothers.
The family will receive friends at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. today.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Barry Case of Crosspoint Church officating.
Interment will follow at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
