BOSSCHER - Virginia May Bosscher was born May 29, 1918, in Grand Rapids, to Agnes and George Whitford. She graduated from South High School and attended Davenport College. She was a lifelong member of Olivet United Methodist Church and married Harold there on June 1, 1940. Her home and family were most important for Virginia and included daughter Dianne (Mike) Hitchingham and son Steven. They made sure all seven grandchildren attended Camp Manitou-lin: Jason (Leslie) Bosscher, Vincent (Erica) Bosscher, Angela Bosscher, Michael (Sue) Hitchingham, Laura (Randy) Thompson, Brandon (Emily) Hitchingham, and David (Amy) Hitchingham. She leaves 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be Sunday, September 12 at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel at 4 p.m. with visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. Please remember Virginia by making a memorial donation to your favorite charity.
