Virgil Busscher

Virgil Busscher, age 76, of Zeeland, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Hospice House of Holland.

Virgil was a charter member of Communi­ty Reformed Church, where he was a custo­dian for 10 years. He worked for Ken Buss­cher Builders for many years before retiring.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Rose­mary of Zeeland; chil­dren, Dawn and Tom Vander Mey of Zee­land, Jerry Busscher of Zeeland, Barbara and Ron Ellens of Zeeland, Karen and Scott Red­der of Holland, Amy and Kent Leary of Zee­land, and Dale and Cin­dy Busscher of Zeeland; 12 grandchildren, Kurt, Lisa (Jon), Jodi, Erica, Brent, Todd (Kourtney), Brandon, Kyle, Connor, Chelsea, Kristi, Kelli; three great-grandchil­dren, Camden, Ashlyn, Avery; brothers and sis­ters, Arthur and Jo Buss­cher, Ruth Staat, Harriet and June Veele, Don and Lillian Busscher; broth­ers and sisters- in- law, Myrtle Busscher, Wilma Busscher, Byron Van Til, John and Penny Tubber­gan, Lynn and Wayne Elenbaas, Marlene and Verlin VandenBosch, Sally and Dave Denuyl. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2013, at Commu­nity Reformed Church, 10376 Felch Street, Zee­land. Offi ciating will be Rev. Steve Simon. Burial will be in Rest­lawn Memorial Gar­dens. Visitation will be from 2-4: p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at Lakeshore Memorial Services.
