Vera May Damstra, age 98, of Holland, died Friday, January 15, 2010, at a care center in New Baltimore, MI.
She was a member of Faith Christian Reformed Church. Vera was preceded in death by her husband, Louis in 1990 and sons, Tommy and Philip.
She is survived by her children; Mary and Robert Schroeder of Grosse Pointe Farms, MI., Steven and Pam Damstra of Rockford, MI.; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Philip ( Wanda) Damstra of Irving, TX., 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; sister, Hazel Bos of Holland.
A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2010, at Faith Christian Reformed Church, 85 W. 26th St., Holland, with Rev. James Boer and Tony Louwerse officiating. Burial will be prior to the service in Pilgrim Home Cemetery. A time of fellowship will follow the service.
