Van Edward Timm

Timm, Van Edward Van Edward Timm, age 70, of Kalamazoo passed away at home surrounded by his family. He was born September 13, 1950 in Elmhurst, Illinois to the late Walter Rudolf and Carol June (Van Alstine) Timm. Van is survived by his wife, Pamela J. (Hausinger) Timm; daughters, Emily Timm and Erica (Wade) Seelbinder; grandchildren, Eleanor, Walter, Alex, and Makayla; and sisters, Connie Lutz and Mary Meitz. A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 11:00am at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1747 W Milham Ave, Portage, MI 49024, where the family will greet friends one hour prior to the service from 10-11:00am. The church will require those in attendance indoors to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination history. An outdoor luncheon will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Van's name may be made to Evangelical Lutheran Church in American World Hunger (payable to ELCA World Hunger), PO Box 1809, Merrifield, Virginia 22116-8009.
