Valma Stillman

Went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the age of 92. Valma was born in Osceola, South Dakota on August 25, 1926, the daughter of the late Dale and Maud (Hart) Snyder. She was married to Ellwood "Woody" Stillman on January 22, 1943. They enjoyed seventy years of marriage together, before he preceded her in death on January 30, 2013. They enjoyed there summers in their South Haven Home and winters in Ft. Myers Florida. She is survived by two children, Connie (Dale Harrison) Schlaack and Larry (Mary) Stillman; four grandchildren, Andrea (Bob) Stamp, Melissa (Joe) Kleinert, Elizabeth (Alex) Vigh and Christopher (Kimberly) Stillman; nine great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Elmer Snyder and Thurvia Williams; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gail Marie Hazelrigg; and one sister and two brothers, Helen Blake, Gail Snyder and Don Snyder. A private family burial service will take place at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park, South. The family will receive friends for a time visitation and fellowship from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, July 1, 2019 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Cremation & Burial Services, 3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009.
