Trevor Gargus

Trevor Lee Gargus of Kalamazoo, MI passed away in the morning of April 24th,2020 at Borgess Hospital surrounded by the love of his mom Lorianne Brinkert and his wife Mamie Gargus. Trevor remained strong and positive to the end as he battle his fight with liver disease. Trevor graduated from Gull Lake High School in 1999. He loved to created and worked thru an apprenticeship in welding. Trevor loved his family and friends. Trevors life changed when his son was born. TJ was Trevors world, the two were inseperatable, the love between the two of them were indescripable. Trevor often hosted family get togethers, bonefire nights with friends and was more than happy to cook, and he was good at it! Trevor loved to create recipes and share them in his FB groups. Trevor was preceded in death by his grandmother Jean A Robinson, grandfather Ronald E Brinkert, uncle Jeffery A Kewely and a cousins Lisa M Gates and Robert G Laymon. Trevor was survived by his (wife) Mamie Gargus, (son) Trevor John Gargus, (Daughter) Cadence Weston. His mother Lorianne Brinkert, father Deslin Gargus, his sister Kelly Easter, and his brother Chadwick Gargus. Along with many nephew, nieces,cousin, aunts and uncles. With a special Aunt Terri Hasting of Battle Creek, and close cousins Kari Hawes(Jeff) and Danielle Fales of Kalamazoo. Private viewing was held due to current cirmastances at this time. Celebration of life and memorial will be announce in the following weeks. Trevor was larger than life, he was always there to lend a helping hand often he would give the shirt off his back for those in need. Trevor loved to be surrounded by his friends and family creating a happy, loving, fun life.
