Trena Meyers, age 92, of Kalamazoo, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 3, 2023. Trena was born September 23, 1930, in Kalamazoo, MI, a daughter of Theodore and Grace Mejeur. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph "Jack" Meyers; grandson, Mark Andrew Bagley; sister, Alareka Block; brother, George Mejeur; and brother John and sister-law Joan Mejeur. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Shirley and Herve' Recipon, Carol and Ken Meyers, and Priscilla and Steve Schurr; grandchildren, Brad and Jessica Bagley, Lisa Bagley, and Jason Radke; great grandchildren, Jalen Radke, Jadie, Maci, and Darby Bagley, Brody Bagley-Bond, and Bennett Bagley Radke; sister, Anna Ruth VanderWeele; brother, Theodore Mejeur Jr. (Jan); and sister-in-law, Rosalyn Meyers; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A service to celebrate Trena's life will be held 11:00 Saturday morning, August 12, 2023, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 3926 S. 9th St, Kalamazoo MI 49009. Trena's family will greet guests at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 and again following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Second Christian Reformed Church's Youth Ministry or Centrica Care Navigators (formerly Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan).
