Timothy Hogan passed away on July, 8, 2026.

Tim was born in Battle Creek, MI, Dec 28, 1929, to Timothy and Agnes Hogan. He had two brothers, John and Dick, who predeceased him. Tim is survived by brother-in-law Fr. Joseph J. McCarthy, six nieces, Patricia, Anne, Mary, Susie, Colleen, and Connie; as well as John Mirsky and Janet Mirsky Horst.

Tim attended St. Philip High School in Battle Creek. He then went to Kalamazoo College and graduated in 1951. After graduation, he served in the Army Signal Corps as a Cryptographer stationed in Germany. After his return from the service, Tim was employed by Professional Management, which provided management services for the medical and dental professions. He retired in 1991.

Tim was married to Mary Jane McCarthy, who died in 1993. He married Shirley Mirsky in 1995, who died in March 2025. Tim and Shirley had many bountiful years together. In 2015 they moved to Glacier Hills Retirement Community and appreciated the staff and friends while living there.

Tim enjoyed living in Ann Arbor where there are many opportunities to attend lectures, concerts, and University of Michigan events. Tim enjoyed cooking for the homeless at the Delonis Center and working with Friends In Deed, as well as being on various committees at Glacier Hills. Tim also enjoyed traveling the world.

Saturday July 25th, 2026, visitation will begin at 10:30am at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Ann Arbor. The Mass of Resurrection will follow at 11:30am. Interment to take place in St. Francis Memorial Garden.
