Thomas White

Thomas Edward White, 70 of Kalamazoo, Michigan, passed away on May 30, 2026, after a lengthy illness. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Wallace and Dorothy White of Paw Paw Michigan. He graduated from Paw Paw High School in 1973.

Tom is survived by his wife Linda White, daughters Jennifer White and Lindsay (White) Huckaba, granddaughter Nikela Mae White-Roseman, grandson Eli and Mason White, sisters Mary Jane Arellano and Lee Ann Maxwell, and nephews Daniels and Reyes.

Tom had a love of building, both as a hobby and career, dedication his life to the craft of commercial construction as a Senior Project Superintendent for numerous companies overseeing projects such as the Kalamazoo Valley Museum, Oshtemo Kalamazoo Public Library Branch, and Kellogg Community College. He also loved to cook and bake, spoiling his wife Linda their entire marriage.

Tom enjoyed time spent working on projects around the house he built from the ground up, and teaching his daughters how to build, repair, and cook. He found happiness expressing and sharing his knowledge for building and cooking with his family. He was a man that rarely sat still, but his greatest joy was his family and cherishing every moment spent with them. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose steady presence and strong-willed spirit enriched the lives of those around him.

Visitation for Tom will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 6 to 8 PM at Langeland Family Funeral Home 3926 S. 9th St. Kalamazoo, MI 49009.
