Thomas Hatfield

Thomas Terrell Hatfield, 25, of Portage, Michigan, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on May 10, 2023 in St. Johns, Florida. He was born on February 11, 1998 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Though his life was cut short, we are grateful for the time we had with him.

Thomas was an avid motorcross enthusiast, spending his free time on the racetrack. He was a daredevil who loved the roar of his bike and the thrill of a race. His passion for the sport was evident to all who knew him. He was a graduate of Portage Central High School, where he also played football and wrestled.

Thomas leaves behind a daughter Asha Hatfield. He is also survived by his parents Brad & Margaret (Schmitt) Hatfield, sisters Tracy (Ben) Miller & Nicole (Matthew) Carter, nephew Kayden, nieces Alexis, Tenley, Keelyn & Braelyn, a grandfather Terrell Hatfield, and many aunts and uncles who will miss him dearly.

As a child of God, we find comfort knowing that Thomas is at peace with his Creator, and that he will live on in the memories of those who loved him. His passing is a reminder of the fragility of life, and the importance of cherishing time with loved ones. Ride on Thomas, grip it and rip it!
