Thomas Crofoot

Thomas Charles Crofoot 71 of Frankfort and formerly of Chesaning died Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Munson Medical Center, Traverse City. He was born May 10, 1940 in Chesaning the son of Lloyd W. and Velma C. (Giesken) Crofoot. Tom married Linda K. Babion on October 14, 1961 in Chesaning. He retired from LaClair Sales in Chesaning. Tom was a member of the Chesaning Jaycees, Knights of Columbus and the Frankfort Eagles Aerie Post 3313. He was a Chesaning Village Council member for 20 years. Tom is survived by his wife, Linda Crofoot. They were married 50 years. Also surviving are his children, Karen Saunders of Boca Raton, Florida, Amy (Jeff) Flory and Charlie (Sara) Crofoot both of Chesaning, grandchildren, Claire Saunders and Thomas Lettich of Boca Raton, Florida, Justin, Brett, Megan Flory of Chesaning, Christian Painter, Cayden and Savannah Crofoot of Chesaning, brothers-in-law, George (Kerry) Babion and Mike (Ruth) Babion and sister-in-law, Gini Babion and many nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Velma Crofoot, sister, Jane Mechem, sister-in-law, Marilyn Crofoot and nephew, Chad Babion. Cremation has taken place.
