Ted Sobel

SOBEL, TED Ted Sobel, age 83, passed away peacefully Friday surrounded by his family. A Veteran of the US Navy, Ted had a long accomplished career with the US Postal Service and was recognized by the Postmaster General. A faithful member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, Ted was also a member of the Catholic War Veterans Sacred Heart Post and the American Legion. Married for over fifty years to his wife, Betty. Ted is survived by his children, Deb, Mark and Mary Beth, James and Jeanne. His grandchildren Mallory, Mary, Mark, Maegan and Mitchell. Sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, many nieces and nephews. Ted was loved by his extended family and many friends. A Mass of Christian Burial and Committal Service will be celebrated Wednesday 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church where he will repose one hour prior to Mass. His family will receive visitors Tuesday at Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Chapel, 3525 Remembrance Road NW 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to Sacred Heart of Jesus Church or Crash's Landing Cat Rescue.
