Tad A. Lenczycki passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at the age of 96. He was born in Warsaw, Poland to the late Frank and Mary Lenczycki on February 8, 1926. Tad served in the Polish Army and spent time as a prisoner of war in a German camp after being captured during the Warsaw Uprising in August-October, 1944. See a video of Tad talking about his experiences during WWII at: https://youtu.be/f76xEZz8uhc Tad held a master's degree and was an accountant/controller for many companies over his career, including, Do-Well Manufacturing, Unifab, BF Goodrich and Rockwell International. He was an avid sailor and loved to sail his sailboat "Le Boat" out of South Haven, MI. He owned and managed multiple income properties. He met his wife Kathryn (Seebright) at 3rd Reformed Church and she preceded him in death in 2018. Tad was truly a world traveler, having travelled to over 70 different countries. He also lived in England for 4 years and Italy for a year. Tad is survived by his 4 children, Andy (Julie) Lenczycki, Cynthia Elmer, Jackie Lenczycki, and Ann Davidson; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his wife, Kathryn; and son, David Lenczycki. Private family services will take place.
