KROHN, SYLVIA Sylvia Ruth Krohn, age 74, of Crossville, TN, formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012. She was preceded in death by her father, Hans Czech, her mother, Elise Mehler, and her stepmother, Doris Czech. Surviving are her husband, Juergen D. Krohn; children, Lisa A. Shutts, Heidi M. Rich, Hans G. Krohn (Manuela), Michael P. Krohn, Monika K. Lomakoski (Dave), Randy Rich; ten grandchildren, Christopher, Nadine (Jonathan), Devin, Bret, Ryan, Ashley, Christa, Gavin, Chloe, and Sophie; two great-grandchildren, Ian and Collin; her brother, Pete H. Czech (Billie); brothers-in-law, Udo (Liza), Guenter (Tova); niece, Tina; nephews, Erik, Christian, and Gregory. The family will greet friends on Monday, July 30, from 3 to 4:30 PM at Stroo Funeral Home, where a memorial service will begin at 4:30 PM, with Pastor Frank Lugo officiating.
