Stephen "Stevo" J. Markee, 79 years old, lifelong resident of Kalamazoo, MI born on November 28, 1945, at rest on Saturday, September 20, 2025. Survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Mary Kathleen Luke- Markee, his sons, Chris (Sharon) Markee and JJ (Joy) Markee, his grandchildren, Andrew (Anyssa), Aaron, Sarah, Adrienne and Charlie Markee, his brother, John (Becky) Markee and many nieces and nephews. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, James Woodford and Mary Jane (Bronson) Markee. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 25 from 5-8 pm at Langeland Funeral Home, 3926 S. 9th St., Kalamazoo, MI. Military honors and burial on Friday, September 26 at 11:30 am at Fort Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Rd., Augusta, MI. Please arrive to the cemetery by 11:20 AM and line up in the cortege area inside the entrance.
