Born August 1, 1977 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Stephanie or Steffie, as she would affectionately become known, was the daughter of Larry and Lynn Webb. Raised in Bixby, Stephanie attended Bixby schools. In her youth, she played basketball and softball, but not soccer - because she didn’t really like it. It was because of her strong dislike of that sport that siblings Timothy and Allison still hold a little grudge and blame their sister that their soccer careers never took off!

Away from any sporting fields, a true passion for Stephanie was that of participating in Girl Scouts. It was through this endeavor that Steffie’s mother, Lynn, not only sold a ton of girl scout cookies, but that Stephanie achieved the highest honor - the Gold Award. Larry, Stephanie’s dad, said, “The gold award was a lot like becoming an eagle scout, except it was much harder!”

Taking her sisterhood to the next level, Stephanie attended America’s brightest orange university - Oklahoma State where she was an Alpha Delta Pi sorority sister. Majoring mostly in having a good time, Stephanie made many lifelong friends and became passionate about OSU athletics! Pistols firing!

Following college, Stephanie began a career in accounting and finance. For the past 13 years, she worked as a finance and executive assistant for Infinedi, LLC, in Tulsa, where she loved her job, her coworkers and her bosses! Even upon her diagnosis, earlier this year, Stephanie continued to work from her home office and enjoyed being depended upon. And quite dependable she was!

A devoted employee, moreover, Stephanie’s life completely revolved around that of her beloved son, Seth! Never missing a game or even a practice for that matter, Stephanie was all about being the best mother she could be for Seth. When they weren’t running to sporting events or other activities, the two could be found watching their favorite TV shows like Chicago Fire or Chicago PD.

Other shows that Stephanie would watch included period pieces like Downton Abbey. In addition, she loved to read, scrapbook and work on her bracelet business, “The Wright Design”. One hobby that Stephanie did not participate in was that of fishing! However, this did not prevent her from taking advantage of trips to the lake house where the family spent numerous holidays together. It was during these family gatherings that Steffie won almost every card game ever played. This, as a result of her ‘cheating hands’.

Knowing everyone and pretty-well “everything”, Stephanie was a loyal daughter, sister, mother and friend. Described as independent, strong-willed, dedicated and a fighter, Stephanie lived life unafraid. She was well-organized and a bit OCD. She had a list for everything and everyone. Although she was a bit bossy, she was yours and she was special! She was courageous, and she was beautiful, and she could make a mad batch of deviled eggs!

Stephanie passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018 in Tulsa. She was 40. Her legacy will continue to live on in the lives of her beloved family. They include: her son, Seth; her parents: Larry and Lynn Webb; siblings: Allison and Timothy Webb, wife Lauren; nephew, Jackson Webb; paternal grandparent, Gene Webb; and her beagle, Barkley.

She was preceded in death by: grandparents: Pete and Ruby Jean Umholtz and Billie Jo Damf.

Stephanie’s life is being celebrated at 1:00 PM Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the LifeChurch (South Tulsa Campus).

For those who wish to honor Stephanie’s memory, her family has established an account at Bank of America for the benefit of her surviving son, Seth Owen Wright.
