Terry, Stanley M. Kalamazoo Age 86, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022. Stanley was born in Wheeler, Alabama on September 11, 1935, the son of the late Floyd G. and Minnie M. (Letson) Terry. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy during the Korean War aboard USS Wax Wing and USS Constance Mine Sweepers. Stanley owned and operated Professional Cleaning Service in Kalamazoo for many years. Family was always at the center of Stanley's life, and he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. On April 21, 1958, he married the love of his life, Bertie Faye (Brown) Terry, who preceded him in death on August 19, 2005. Together, Stanley and Faye enjoyed trips up north to Irons, Michigan and to see family in Alabama and travelling extensively throughout the U.S. Stanley was a kind and generous man who helped countless people throughout his life and he will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his children, Mona Croyle and Greg Terry; grandchildren, Christopher (Jamie) Terry, John Caleb Croyle, Alese (Derek) LePert and Alex (Brittany Butler) Terry; great-grandchildren, Harlie, Hannah, Haleigh and Christopher Terry, Easton and Mila LePert and Camryn; great-grandson, Bennett; brother, Ralph Terry; sister in-law, Faye Terry and many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Besides his parents and wife, Faye, Stanley is preceded in death by his brother, Charles Terry, sister, Sue Morris and beloved nephew, Mike Terry. A funeral service will be held at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Ray Brandon officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Kalamazoo. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, July 14 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
