Sinnie Vlietstra, age 97 of Kalamazoo, died peacefully at Rose Arbor Hospice Home on May 20, 2021. She was born May 27, 1923, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Thomas and Anna (Haan) Vlietstra. Sinnie married John Vlietstra on December 6, 1946. She worked at Vlietstra Brothers Swimpool Company. She was a member of the Westwood Christian Reformed Church. Her family includes her daughter Sally Vlietstra; her granddaughter Lindsey; her great-granddaughter Alyssa; and special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings: Bert, Evey, Millie, and Alvin, and her husband John. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 10 AM at Fort Custer National Cemetery with Pastor Mike Koetje officiating. Masks are required.
