Shirley Gregory

Shirley Gregory went to be with her Lord on November 25, 2025. Shirley Ann (Heines) Gregory was born on September 12, 1934, to Marie (Baehl) and Marion Heines in Evansville, Indiana.

She was a singer, pianist, and a stunning beauty in Evansville. She also went to business college.

In the early 1960s, she met Ross Gregory. The two married December 15, 1962. They went on to have 3 children, Theresa Marie, Graham Thomas, and Darren Matthew.

Shirley was kind, generous, and a real woman of faith. This faith sustained her throughout the years. She had many friends, and they all loved her dearly.

Shirley was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Rexing in 2004, and her husband, Ross Gregory in 2017.

She is survived by her children, Theresa Marie, Graham Thomas, and Darren Matthew. She is also survived by one granddaughter, Danielle Marie Rayman, as well as many friends and loved ones. She will be dearly missed, but we all take comfort that she is with her Lord and Creator.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 11:00am at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation Services, 3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, Michigan 49009, where family will greet friends from 10:00am until the start of the service. Interment in Portage Central Cemetery will immediately follow. All are welcome to return to Langeland's Reception Hall for a time of food and fellowship.
