Shirley Chambers

Shirley Chambers, age 88, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away on January 9, 2025. Shirley was born on August 16, 1936, in Cameron, WV, daughter of Herman and Gladys Wendt. She married Ray Carroll Chambers on March 12, 1960 and traveled the world during his 20 year Navy career before settling in Portage, MI. Ray Carroll preceded her in death in 1985. Shirley is survived by her daughter Terri (Greg) Stowers of Kalamazoo, MI, her son Ronnie (Cindy) Chambers of Rockingham, NC, and granddaughters Ashley (Caitlyn) Stowers of Kalamazoo and Britney (Zach) Branch of Rockingham. No services are planned at this time. Her cremains will be interred next to her husband in Cameron, WV at a later date.
