Sherrysue Parker, 81, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2019. She was born July 16, 1937 in Kalamazoo to the late Arthur and Evelyn (Teachout) Thurston. Sherry was united in marriage to Richard J. Parker on June 15, 1957, who preceded her in death in October of 1987. Sherry is survived by her children, Cynthia Parker, Timothy Parker, Lisa (Andre) Bell; grandchildren, Jennifer, Sherisa, Terrell and Isaiah Parker; and 7 great-grandchildren. The family will greet friends on Saturday, April 27th from 11:00 1:00pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., where a luncheon will be provided. A private interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery. The family would like to offer a special thanks to SouthernCare Hospice for the loving care they provided to Sherry and her family.
