Shelby Stanford

Passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2019. Shelby was born May 5, 1993 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Marc and Della (Huggett) Stanford. She was a graduate of Portage Central High School in 2011. Shelby enjoyed hunting for morel mushrooms, knitting, crocheting, hiking, and spending time on the beach. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her parents; brothers, Cameron and Evan Stanford; grandmothers, Elizabeth Huggett, Frauncelle King; aunts and uncles, Ginny (Ron) Sherer, Brian (Gretchen) Huggett, Jacques Stanford, John Stanford; her boyfriend, Thomas Ranney; and many loving cousins. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the YWCA of Kalamazoo or Family and Children Services of Kalamazoo.
