Shelby D. Griffith

Died Thursday afternoon December 19, 2019. Shelby was born August 4, 1940 in Moulton, Alabama a daughter of Thomas and Stella (Phillips) Hand. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life. Shelby was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl J. Griffith in 2013; a son, Carl W. Griffith on March 2, 1998; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters. She is survived by 2 daughters, Carol Lee Griffith of Delton and Betty Jean (Paul) Casault of Highland, IN; 7 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Lucille [Rayburn (Gaithal)] Randolph of Decatur, AL and Christine Bradley of Portage, MI; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 11 o'clock Saturday, December 28th at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation Services, 622 S Burdick St., Kalamazoo, MI 49007.
