Sandra Land

Sandra Jayne Land, age 74, of Fairmount, IN passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at her residence. She was born on November 11, 1941, in Richmond, IN to the late Charles and Deloris (Clevenger) Creviston. On August 8, 1958 she married the love of her life Earl W. Land. Sandra was a member of the Main Street Wesleyan Church in Elwood. She was Treasurer of the Wesleyan Women and Secretary of Sunday School for many years. Sandra was a great cook, and enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She was an avid collector of giraffes. She was very proud of and loved each and everyone of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sandra will be sadly missed by her loving family and everyone who knew her. Sandra is survived by her loving Husband, of 58 years, Earl W. Land of Fairmount, IN ; Daughter, Vicki L. Adams of Kalamazoo, MI; Son, William C. (Susan) Land of Gobles, MI; Son, Patrick E. (Lisa) Land of Maxwell, IN; Daughter, Kristi L. (Tim) McGorman of Plainwell, MI; Brother, Stephen Allen Creviston of Richmond IN.; 10 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, and several Nieces and Nephews. Sandra was preceded in death by her Father, Charles Gene Creviston, Mother, Deloris Creviston, and a Brother, Byron Lee Creviston. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, Indiana with Revs. Tim and Ron Becker officiating. Burial will follow at the Knox Chapel Cemetery in Fairmount. Visitation will be Friday, August 5, 2016, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to Main Street Wesleyan Church in Elwood Indiana or Giraffe Ranch in Dade City, Florida.
