Sally Ellen Deckard, age 74, of Wellston, passed away July 29, 2023 in Cadillac, Michigan. She was born July 29, 1949 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Louise Ellen (Dostie) and Daniel J. Lindsley.
Sally was pure of heart and loving by nature. She loved and cared for everyone. She was a lover and follower of Jesus. We are at peace that she is now in Heaven.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Sid Lindsley and Daniel J. Lindsley III.
She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Robert Deckard of Wellston; children, Tammy M. (Ronald) Kemp, Tina M. Hilliard, Roy A. Hilliard, and Shelby D. Deckard; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Dana M. Ames of Vicksburg; brother, Terry (Tammy) Lindsley of Kalamazoo; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Sally's life will be held at a later date.
