Rosual "Andy" Brand

Rosual "Andy" Brand, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2008. He was born on August 12, 1928 in Lafayette, Alabama. Rosual is survived by his wife, Josephine (Kuhl) Brand, whom he married on August 23, 1952 in Buchanan, Michigan. He is the son of Jim and Mae Brand. He was preceded in death by sister, Kathleen; brothers, Sol Brand and David Pendley. He is survived by his children, Raymond (Rhea) Brand, Dorothy (Barry) Mathews, JoAnn (Wayne) Carpenter, William (Carolyn) Brand, Thomas (Martha) Brand; son-in-law, Ralph Long; 26 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ruben (Ruth) Brand, Willard Pendley, Dempsey Pendley; sisters, Ruth Arthurhultz, Mamie Bankston, Martha (Archie) Fee; sisters and brothers-in-law, Leona Corder, Edward (Rose) Kuhl, Eugene (Gayle) Stevens; also many nieces and nephews. Rosual was a member of Wayland VFW Post #7581. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at United Church of Wayland with Pastor Nancy Zerban officiating. Military Graveside Services under auspices of Wayland VFW Post #7581 at Elmwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Wayland Area Ambulance.
