Rosalie Kay Pieratt, 81, passed away on April 4, 2024. She was born on March 8, 1943, in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Rosalie was a loving wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma. Described as caring, fun-loving, and always smiling, she touched the lives of many.

She was a Paraprofessional for Portage Public Schools and Secretary for Environmental Services at Bronson Methodist Hospital. In 1993, Rosalie was honored with the Employee of the Year award at Bronson Methodist Hospital.

Rosalie was one of the original members of Faith Reformed Church and later worshipped at Greenwood Reformed Church.

She enjoyed sewing for her daughters and granddaughters, crafting American Girl Doll clothes that she sold at craft shows. Cross-stitching was another passion of hers, and she was actively involved in planning both family and 1961 Portage Schools class reunions. She enjoyed the challenge of many jigsaw puzzles and was an avid Bingo player.

Rosalie is survived by her daughters, Kimberlie (Kevin) Brim and Jodi Moore; granddaughters, Lauren (Larry) Misuraca, Amanda (Bryan) Clark, Kelsey Brim, Jessica (Jacob) Lewis, Jennifer (Tim) Lieber; grandson, Hunter Moore; great-granddaughters, Madeline and Harper Misuraca, Kennedy Clark, Mia Lieber; great-grandsons, Carson Clark, Eli, and Owen Lieber; brother, Robert Stockwell; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Dorothy Stockwell; husband of 54 years, John Pieratt; and brothers, Richard, Ronald, Roy, and Rodney Stockwell.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date to honor Rosalie's life.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
