Ronald W. Lindsey, 84, of Kalamazoo, MI went home to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, February 27, 2017. Ron was born to Ward and Frances Lindsey on February 2, 1933. He attended and graduated from the Richland Rural Agricultural School. Ron was a veteran of the United States Army where he served in the Medical Battalion Company 3rd Infantry Division as a speed radio operator and served in the Korean War. During his service, Ron was awarded the Korean Service Ribbon, United Nations Service Medal, and the National Defense Medal. Following his service, he was employed at Pemco as a supervisor for 35 years. Ron was married to His best friend Marilyn Wagner for 48 years. They served in the ministry of the Lord for 10 years. Ron was a gentle soul and well loved by everyone he met. Ron is survived by his wife Marilyn, daughter Rhonda (Steven) Woudenberg, son Arthur Lindsey, step-son Michael Ellsworth, grandchildren: Jessica (Brendan) Drallette, Jason (Lori) Fletcher, Ryan Lindsey, Saylor Lindsey, Renee (Steve) Moses, Lyndsey (Brad) Kuiper, and great-grandchildren: Keane, Lincoln, Ashtyn, Camden, and Mason. Funeral and burial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday March 3, 2017, at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
